Why Hitodama came first

We have always been drawn to yokai because every creature has its own story. Hitodama came first because of the idea behind it: a human soul appearing as a ball of fire.

We wanted to represent it in our own way, using soft colours and a hand-painted watercolour style. We had not seen many clothes that treated yokai this way, so we made the kind of design we wanted to wear ourselves.
